KITESURFING
The only IKO center in Indonesia from 2004 until 2007.
Equipment from Airush, Cabrinha, Naish,
Wipika & Peter Lynn. Pro shop with new and 2nd hand
equipment. Rental equipment available. Just in front of the club is
a good spot in both seasons, during medium-low to high tide. If you
want to know about the wind and the waves around Sanur you can
always call (+62 361 288 011 ext. Blue Oasis) There is the latest
kite equipment for hire, boat rescue, boat taxi, kite caddies plus
tuition and expert advice from IKO Level 2 Senior instructor,
Mario Bari. To ensure you get the best from your lesson, we use
safety helmets with two-way radio to communicate with students from
the boat, and for added impact vests. Membership and storage lockers
for private equipment are also available.
Learn to Kitesurf at our School
Our lessons are conducted in a safe user-friendly environment and
lessons can be structured to suit individual's need. Your safety is
of utmost importance to us so we use a rescue boat to keep a close
eye on you. All students wear impact vest, booties and two way radio
helmets.
Discovery Kiteboarder programme Level 1 IKO 2hours
The best way to discover kiteboarding! No experience needed but to
be able to swim. By the end of the program you will be ready to move
to the next step: getting up on the board! The first part of this
program will take you through the steps of piloting a 2 or 4 lines
kite, and body dragging in the water. You will also learn about
safety and how important it is to the sport. Furthermore you will be
taken through the steps of equipment set up and launching and
landing.
Intermediate Kiteboarder programme Level 2 IKO 1.5 hours
By the end of the intermediate programme, you will get up on the
board for your first ride. During the course, you will improve kite
piloting with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging unhooked
and hooked into your harness. Perfect for those who wish to practice
a few times per year and rent equipment during holidays.
Independent Kiteboarder programme Level 3 IKO 1.5 hours
You will be able to ride upwind and do your first jump! During this
programme you will learn how to manage your practice area and to
choose your equipment. Your kite flying skills will be improved and
you will learn how to control your direction and power and come back
to your starting point. You will be able to fly more powerful kites.
You will be able to use twin tip, mutant or a smaller directional
board.
Private Coaching 1hour one-on-one tuition Let us help you develop
your skills:
Jibing - how to carve your directional board, switch feet and plane
out of your turn, Upwind - Learn how to 'edge' and hold a rail,
control your speed and sail upwind. Ram-air or foils - Learn safe
launching and recovery of a ram-air foil kite. Learn water launching
and self rescue. Twin tips, mutant & smaller boards - Learn how to
use this advance style of board that will increase your fun in the
water.
