YOGA
Having
enjoyed our watersports, come and relax your taut muscles
with yoga or energise yourself with a session of cranio
sacral therapy with Jen Oliveiro. She can teach a variety
of hatha yoga styles and techniques to keep your body and
mind, fluid and flowing. As a long time practitioner of pranayama, she can improve your
skin diving techniques and
focus with lessons in yogic breathing and improve your relaxation
with guided meditations. Lessons can be anything from 45mins
to 90mins depending on your needs.
A session of cranio sacral therapy can release any blockages
to the flow of energy in the body, allowing focus and well
being to return as you unwind through this work. You lie
fully clothed and on your back or side, as your body‘s healing
system to returns to full power, with this deep relaxation
of the nervous system , Recommended for any injuries, trauma
and stress to bodies of all ages, genders and beliefs. Pregnant
women and babies are welcome. Sessions from 45mins to 1hour
can be arranged at your convenience.
Jen first began practicing yoga nine years ago in New York
with Jiva Mukti, then astanga with Pattabhi Jois and
Richard
Freeman, before studying Iyengar yoga with Faeq Biria, in
Paris. Her training in 1999 as a cranio sacral therapist
at the College of Cranio Sacral studies, in London, began
her interest in a more intuitive approach to yoga. Cranio
sacral and her interest in pranayama, led her to teach
pregnancy
yoga and baby yoga, as taught by Janet Balaskas and later
train as a Birthlight teacher with Francoise Freeman.
When she is not teaching yoga in Bali, she studies the
Scaravelli
style of yoga with Diane Long, in Rome and with
John Stirk
in London. Throughout her varied asana training, her of
practice pranayama (yogic breathing), meditation and
advaita
vedanta with Clive Sheridan in India, has remained since
1997.
